The turbo diamond grinder offers incredible diamond grinding capabilities for almost any floor removal or prep project. While most floor machines spin at 175 RPM, the turbo turns at over 2800 RPM. The speed, along with the diamond grinding plate, make short work of almost any floor coating. It also works well to grind concrete. The standard one piece diamond plate is good for general purpose grinding. The Teq-Lok plate is designed to accept different quick change segments for different applications. The medium diamond segments are for general purpose grinding and removal, the arrow diamond segments work well for thin set, and the carbide chip holder segments work well for glue and coating removal. Users are charged per thousandth of an inch of diamond used, which can add a substantial amount to the cost.
